We are always in need of foster homes!

We are a foster based rescue, which means all of our adoptable rabbits are housed in various foster homes instead of at one singular location. The number of rabbits in need is astounding and has only gotten worse over the last few years, and most shelters and rescues are constantly overflowing with rabbits. Fostering truly saves lives, as many of these rabbits have nowhere to go if we don’t have capacity to take them in. If you’d be able to open up your home to help a rabbit in need, please review the foster requirements below and apply if interested!

1. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older

2. Rabbits must always be housed indoors and away from other rabbits in the home

3. Applicants must have a valid drivers license and be able to take the rabbit to one of our vets in St. Catharines, Hamilton, Toronto or Guelph.

4. Applicants ideally are able to house their foster rabbit until they’re adopted. At the very minimum, for 6 months.

5. Regular communication via text, email or Facebook is necessary.

6. Children cannot be the primary caregivers for the animals.

7. Other rabbits in the home must be vaccinated against RHDV2.
