Meet Cali – The Sweetest Snuggle Bun!

Cali is a four-year-old New Zealand-Californian mix with a heart as big as her love for head rubs! Originally found as a stray, this resilient girl has truly blossomed since coming into rescue. She adores human affection and will happily sit for as long as you’re willing to give her pets—so if you’re looking for a bunny who loves to be loved, Cali is your girl!

Calico (as her foster mom likes to call her) even knows her name and will often come when called—especially if there’s a banana or blueberry involved. She’s a playful and curious bun who enjoys digging, tossing her toys, and lounging in her favorite spots. Most days, you’ll find her “remodeling” the bathroom floor by digging at the tile around the toilet—she takes her work very seriously!

She has excellent litter habits, a great appetite for hay, and an easygoing personality. While she’s fairly active, she doesn’t need much to stay entertained—just some love, a few toys, and maybe a fun digging spot.

Cali would thrive with a bunny companion, especially a shy male who needs a confident friend, but she’d also do well with a devoted human who can give her the attention she craves. Because of her past, she can sometimes get a little startled at night and may thump, but otherwise, she’s in great health and a joy to have around.
