Biography
Cashew is part of a litter that came to us all the way from Quebec when they were only 6 days old. Cashew’s mom, Hazelnut, was left outside a Quebec pound with 4 other rabbits and the next day she gave birth, but her and her babies were facing euthanasia due to lack of space, so we offered to take them in.
Cashew is a mini rex/lionhead mix but definitely got mostly rex genes when it comes to looks. The part-lionhead that's in her makes her coat a bit more fuzzy than velvety (like a normal rex's coat would be) but it's still super soft. And what she lacks in whiskers, she makes up for with her hilarious personality!
Is that an engine rumbling? Nope, just Cashew making sure you know it’s time for breakfast! Her hilarious growls are her way of letting you know she’s excited for food, and it provides her foster mom with endless entertainment. Despite being a chatty opinionated bun, she’s never shown any aggression and is quite sweet. She will even climb into her foster mom’s lap for snuggles. She will occasionally get spooked and has been known to throw a fit that would make a toddler proud.
If you’re looking for a bunny to keep you laughing and bring joy to your home, please consider Cashew!
Cashew has been spayed and vaccinated, and she can go home solo to a loving family or to be bonded with a lonely boy bunny!
