Biography

Casper is a lovely, squishy, cuddle-puddle of a New Zealand bun who just loves being petted.... oh and PELLETS, or both at the same time (cloud nine!!). If you know dogs, imagine a goofy labrador crossed with a bunny and you've got Casper. He's super food motivated and gets so excited for pellets and will leap and twist and generally act a fool in the most charming and desperate way lol. He would likely learn a variety of tricks-for-treats if he could calm his brain cells down a bit ;)

Other things to know about Casper: He has such a big nosey that his foster mom can't help but call him Moose. Yes, his nose is That big. He's pretty darn sound proof, his foster has two young kids who are noise bombs and Casper isn't bothered, he trusts people of all ages easily so long as they come bearing gifts of food, he loves to explore, he ISN'T scared of smooth floors and will hop anywhere including onto couches and up the stairs. He doesn't mind dogs one bit and tho he hasn't met a cat we suspect he'd blink slowly at first and then move one with his daily agenda (...of eating and napping and smoozing). He isn't snarky towards other rabbits in his foster home - he would do well as a solo bunny OR as a bonded bunny. Casper says "it's allllll gooooood man, all you need is Love!"

A lil' medical history, Casper's legs are slightly splayed out to the side AND it doesn't limit him one bit! Like many large breed buns, he might need some happy medicine (metacam) to help with arthritis as he gets into retirement years, but that's a ways away! We did do X-rays when he was neutered and they showed that a vertebrae in his spine is fused to his pelvis likely from an old injury.

Casper has been neutered, vaccinated, litter trained and is ready to find his forever home!
