Biography
Sweet little Chipmunk was rescued from a Quebec shelter with his mom and siblings just before they were set to be euthanized due to space constraints. The family arrived in foster care and quickly settled in.
Chipmunk was the smallest one of his litter and is still itsy bitsy - but don't let his size fool you, as he has lots of sass in that tiny body! Chipmunk takes interior decorating very seriously and loves moving and throwing all of his toys around and digging his blankets to adjust their placement. He has multiple cardboard houses which he likes to hang out inside of and he loves chewing on palm toys. He's not destructive but just like any bunny, he needs lots of enrichment in the form of toys and obstacles to avoid boredom. He's very playful and particularly likes tossing around his stacking cups.
Chipmunk is curious and won't hesitate to come and sniff you out but he's not sure about hands reaching out to pet him. If you sit with him, he'll boop you and put his paws on your legs but he'll scoot away if you try to touch him. It's possible he may learn to like pets over time or he may just be a "look but don't touch" kind of guy and that's okay too!
Chipmunk has been neutered and vaccinated against RHDV2, and he's ready to find his forever home. He's good with cats and he'd be a good candidate to bond to a gentle and lonely female bunny.
