Biography

Cotton Candy, or "Cici" for short, was an owner surrender after living in a garage for 3.5 years. She was quite nervous and sad when she arrived in our care as she was used to living next to another rabbit (her brother) so once we had her sharing a fenceline with another rabbit, she perked up and started coming out of her shell. She's still more of a shy rabbit but she definitely has some sass! She loves digging at her blankets and flipping over her cardboard house, which isn't helpful as she also loves to sleep in it. She has very long and soft fur that she'll occasionally let you pet but she isn't one to snuggle right up next to you - potentially over time as she warms up more to people she'll become more accepting of pets because she does like them, she's still just unsure of humans! Most of her previous care was provided by children and we're not sure how much socialization she got, so it's understandable she'd be nervous if she spent most of her time alone.
Cici would defintely benefit from having a bunny friend, and although she's a shy girl with people, we suspect she'd be the dominant one in a bunny relationship. She'd do well being paired with a submissive but outgoing boy bun who could help give her some confidence, and lots of snuggles! She's also good around cats and dogs with no prey drive.
Cici has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to find her forever home.

This is what Cici’s foster mom has to say about her:
Cici is a shy and timid girl but when she comes out of her shell she's adventurous. She will come to you for pats or allow you to pet her but once she gets her fill she'll go off on her own. She will also come to you and bop you with her head to check you out. When she's curious of her surroundings she likes to stand up on her back feet a lot for the best view. She loves her hides and boxes and will often be found under them. She would really benefit with a confident male bun that could bring out her true colours. Cici's litter skills are very good!! You will barely find a stray poop (sometimes she'll kick them out of the box by accident, she's very fluffy so I'm sure it just sticks to her feet sometimes when she leaves).
