Biography
Wonka came to us after his owner passed away and there was no one to care for him. His head is permanently tilted to the side (due to untreated ear infections in his prior home) which gives him a unique point of view. To Wonka this great view of the ceiling is just normal for him and he gets around just fine despite looking wonky. He runs and runs, loves his kibbles, is super kind to other bunnies and all gentle people. He makes friends so easily and loves to be held and loved on. Yes you heard that right - a bunny who loves to be held!! He just melts into your arms and will stay there for an hour if you are game.
Wonka's head tilt has had a positive impact on his modelling career as it makes his long lionhead bangs look striking swept off to the side AND he is a master of running in circles so the poparatzi can get their best shots (#zoolander, #Ionlyturntotheright). His foster mom lovingly calls him the "whale shark" because he uses his whiskers and lips to skim the floor in search of pellets since he cannot view the floor clearly. He's a dandy little pellet vacuum!
Willy Wonka is a great candidate to bond with a lady bun. Not only does he KNOW he's handsome, he also has excellent social skills. Annnd, since his head is turned to the side he is very unlikely to bite a bunny during the bonding process and instead would most likely use his circular agility or some smooth-as-honey poetry to woooo his betrothed. He could also be adopted solo if his human family is able to spend a lot of time with him, he's NOT an aloof guy and likes leaning on others :) xoxoxoxo
Wonka is a medical special needs fellow who is looking for a special adopter. He has had challenges with his teeth and eyes and likely will need to see the vet every 3 months (including dental appointments). He's 50% litter trained so keeping him on an easily cleaned floor is a good life choice. He WILL NOT hop on smooth floors (evil lava!) so you can use towels to steer him where you want him to explore.
Willy has been neutered, vaccinated and is ready to find his forever home!
